QuiltWizard

This magical little app allows you to test out fabrics in your stash or in the store before you even begin quilting. You use QuiltWizard by taking photos of fabrics in your stash or at the store then using those photos in pre-loaded templates to get a preview of what the final product will look like. This is especially helpful when you aren't so sure about a color palette or are considering finishing a quilt with an especially expensive fabric. QuiltWizard does not provide yardage information for finished quilts.

BlockFab

BlockFab is a completely free-to-download quilting app that helps you make the best of your fabric stash. Focusing on helping you create the best quilt blocks possible, this collection of 50 traditional quilt blocks allows you to experiment with fabric on each block before downloading a list of yardage for each block. QuiltFab

If you struggle with figuring out how much fabric you will need for your quilting projects, this app is for you. QuiltFab allows you to enter the dimensions of your quilt, fabric, blocks, and more to help you estimate how much fabric you will need for a given project. This nifty app allows you to specify how much of a border you are applying to your quilt as well as fabric shrinkage information, making as accurate as an estimate as possible.

Stash Star
